This cube is designed to give an experience close to actually drafting from Origins packs. For best results, draft packs of 13 cards with battlefields and legends shuffled in.
I built this cube with official draft format rules in mind, i.e.:
- As close to eight players as possible.
- Three packs per player. You should end the draft with a total pool of 39 cards each.
- Decks must be at least 20 cards, but they can be more. They can have any three domains, and the normal limits on copies per card do not apply.
- All cards in your card pool not used in the Main Deck comprise your sideboard between matches.
- You may play any Legend whose domains fall completely within your deck's three domains (e.g., if you are playing Fury/Mind/Chaos, you could play Daughter of the Void (Kai'sa), Swift Scout (Teemo), or Loose Cannon (Jinx) but not Hand of Noxus (Darius), Nine-Tailed Fox (Ahri), or Bounty Hunter (Miss Fortune)). You may also choose not to include a Legend, even if you drafted a valid Legend.
- Your Chosen Champion may be any Champion Unit within your domains, even if it doesn't match your Legend (whether you have one or not). You may also choose not to include a Chosen Champion, even if you drafted a valid Champion unit.
- Your Main Deck may include any Signature cards whose domains fall completely within your deck's three domains (e.g., if you are playing Calm/Body/Order, you could include Dragon's Rage, Showstopper, and/or Zenith Blade but not Fox-Fire, Stormbringer, or Noxian Guillotine).
- If you do not include both a Legend and a Chosen Champion, you draw an extra card during your first Beginning Phase.
- If you do not include three Battlefields in your decklist, replace the missing slots with a Blank Battlefield. When choosing a random battlefield, include the Blank or Blanks with any other Battlefield(s) you drafted and choose to include.
- You may use any basic runes, even though they aren't provided in the cube.
