Key Info
Cubes are custom limited environments that use pre-selected (often singleton) collections of cards to build “packs” from, creating a unique experience that feels somewhere between limited and constructed, and that’s a lot of fun.
My all-star cube aims to fit as many high-power cards in as possible, generally straying away from parasitic synergies. This asks players to build cohesive decks around the best cards in the game.
As such, you do not have to draft legends here. They are all treated as basic, the same way runes are. Add whichever one you’d like to your deck after the draft is done! This way, if you see a powerful card that you’d like to use in a particular legend, you can draft it with confidence that you will get to play them together.
Otherwise, the cube follows normal limited rules. Decks can use up to 3 domains, and are 25 cards, including the Chosen Champion (which can be any Champion in your domains, not just one that matches your Legend).
Pack Sizing
This cube supports 2, 4-5, and 6-8 man drafts. For 4-5 people, each person gets 5 packs of 8 cards each. For 6-8, it’s 3 packs of 13 cards each.
For 2, use the Housman Draft format, but skip the last pack. Details are here: https://luckypaper.co/resources/formats/housman-draft/.
2v2
2v2 is supported, and honestly it’s the best way to play with 4 people. Use 4 player pack sizing, and seat teammates diagonally across from each other. After pack 2, each teammate can send up to a 5 word message to their partner to give some info about their pool. Pools are not shared, but you can coordinate with your teammate to build from your draft pool. Then, play a game of 2v2, each contributing one battlefield. At this point, normal 2v2 rules apply.
